Possible DUI Collision Near Stone Avenue Sunday
Gerber, CA (February 6, 2022) – A car accident that occurred Sunday on State Highway 99 West resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated a vehicle of unknown make and model drifted off the roadway for an unknown reason. Officials said the car came to a rest after crashing against a tree near Stone Avenue. After the incident, an oncoming car struck debris from the collision and ended up careening toward the direction of the vehicle veered off the highway.

Shortly after 3:48 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics said they found as many as four parties possibly hurt in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the victims sustained major trauma as a result of the wreck. The names of the injured parties and their conditions at this time have not been discussed thus far.
The CHP log mentioned one driver involved in the crash showed signs of intoxication. However, it remained unclear if police have arrested the suspect after the accident.
Further investigation is underway on the car crash on State Highway 99 in Gerber.
