4 Injured in Gilroy Head-On Crash at Highway 25 and Bolsa Road
GILROY, CA (June 11, 2021) – A head-on crash injured several people at Highway 25 and Bolsa Road in Gilroy.
According to an article published by the East Bay Times, the accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 8 p.m.
The Cal Fire said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason south of Gilroy. The collision described as a head-on occurred at the intersection of Highway 25 and Bolsa Road.
Multiple Vehicles Collide in Gilroy
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene and extricated two trapped people from the wreckage. A total of four people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patients to hospitals for treatment. Their names and condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, officials forced the area of Highway 25 and Bolsa Road to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Gilroy crash.
