2 Badly Injured in Glenn County Crash Near County Road 45 and County Road P
GLENN COUNTY, CA (November 21, 2022) – Two were badly injured after a crash near County Road 45 and County Road P in Glenn County.
According to an article published by the Action News Now, the accident took place last week on Friday. Officers reported the wreck in the afternoon of November 18 near Willows.
The incident began when a white Dodge minivan was going south on County Road P, approaching County Road 45, in Glenn County.
At the same time, a black Nissan pickup truck was traveling west on County Road 45. For an unknown reason, the driver of the Dodge ran a stop sign at the intersection.
Driver Runs Stop Sign, Hits Another Car
The California Highway Patrol said the van then slammed into the Nissan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found two people hurt.
Both patients sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision. A helicopter flew one of them to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Glenn County crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced the area of County Road 45 and County Road P to shut down following the wreck.
