1 Killed in Collision Near County Road 24 Friday
Glenn County, CA (February 4, 2022) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 5 Friday, the Action News Now reported.
Preliminary investigation revealed a pickup truck was traveling south on the freeway. In the area near County Road 24, one tire of the pickup truck blew out.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the vehicle smashed into the center median. Officials said the driver of the car was ejected during the rollover crash. According to the article published online, the driver appeared unrestrained.
Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Further investigation is ongoing on the fatal car crash on Interstate 5 in Glenn County.
