5 Injured in Good Hope Crash at Ellis Avenue and Burton Road
GOOD HOPE, CA (September 4, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash at Ellis Avenue and Burton Road in Good Hope.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident on Sunday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:58 p.m.
Cal Fire said the incident happened when two vehicles collided in Good Hope. The cars crashed at the intersection of West Ellis Avenue and Burton Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then freed at least one trapped occupant from the wreckage. A total of five people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Two victims sustained moderate injuries while the other three survived with minor injuries. Medical personnel then rushed all patients to hospitals for treatment.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Ellis and Burton to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Good Hope crash is still under investigation.
