5 Injured in Granada Hills Crash on Southbound 5 Freeway Near Roxford
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 24, 2021) – A car crash injured several people on the 5 Freeway and Roxford Street in the Granada Hills neighborhood.
According to an article published by the KTLA News, the wreck took place late Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 5:23 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said six vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Granada Hills. They crashed on the southbound 5 Freeway, just south of Roxford Street.

At least one person became ejected due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
A total of five patients, including two children, ended up hurt as a result of the wreck. Medical personnel then took them to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Granada Hills crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway to shut down near Roxford following the wreck.
