Grass Valley Highway 49 Upward
1 Injured in Grass Valley Crash at Highway 49 and Upward Way
GRASS VALLEY, CA (January 5, 2022) – At least one was hospitalized after a car crash at Highway 49 and Upward Way in Grass Valley.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Wednesday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 9:50 p.m.
The incident happened when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Grass Valley. They crashed on Highway 49 at the intersection with Upward Way.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Bethel Church. They found one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 49 and Upward Way to shut down for more than half an hour following the wreck. The cause of the Grass Valley crash is still under investigation.
