1 Seriously Injured in Grass Valley Hit-and-Run at La Barr Meadows and Dog Bar Roads
GRASS VALLEY, CA (April 15, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash seriously injured at least one person at La Barr Meadows and Dog Bar roads in Grass Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Thursday. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 6 p.m.
CHP said the hit-and-run collision occurred at the intersection of La Barr Meadows and Dog Bar roads in Grass Valley.
Collision Near Corner Store in Grass Valley
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Corner Store. They then found one victim who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers found the suspect vehicle on Highway 49 at Combie Road.
Authorities are still investigating the Grass Valley hit-and-run collision.
