Passenger Hurt, Driver Arrested After Collision Near Ridge Road
Grass Valley, CA (June 22, 2022) – Gregory Gulizia, a 46-year-old man, suffered injuries following a suspected DUI crash that occurred on Rough and Ready Highway.
The FOX News reported Jeanette Polino was behind the wheel of a 2008 Nissan Titan traveling in the streets of Grass Valley Tuesday evening. When the motorist approached the area near Ridge Road, Polino veered off the roadway and eventually rolled over. Officials said the Nissan came to a rest after slamming against a tree off the road.
Minor Injury DUI Crash on Rough and Ready Highway in Grass Valley
Shortly after 11 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found Polino with serious injuries. Authorities added the passenger, Gregory Gulizia, sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident. Additional information on the injured passenger remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, preliminary investigation revealed alcohol played a role in the collision. Police then arrested 47-year-old Jeanette Polino. Detectives continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the crash on Rough and Ready Highway.
