1 Killed, 1 Injured in Gridley Crash Near Highway 99 and Liberty Road
GRIDLEY, CA (December 13, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and injured another near Highway 99 and Liberty Road in Gridley.
According to an article published by the Action News Now, the tragic accident on Monday evening. Offices reported the wreck at around 6:50 p.m.
Gridley police said the incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed near the intersection of Highway 99 and West Liberty Road.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They confirmed that a man driving a car involved died as a result of the collision.
The driver of the other vehicle ended up hurt following the wreck. Medical personnel took the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, police forced the area of Highway 99 and Liberty Road to shut down for hours following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Gridley crash is still under investigation.
