1 Injured in Gustine Hit-and-Run Crash at Pfitzer Road and Moffatt Road
GUSTINE, CA (May 2, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Pfitzer Road and Moffatt Road in Gustine.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred late Sunday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck shortly before 11:30 p.m.
CHP said a pickup truck and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of Pfitzer Road and Moffatt Road in Gustine.
Driver Hits Another Car, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the community of Ingomar. They found a female occupant who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries she sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose her name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the male driver of the pickup initially stopped to talk to the victim but later fled the area. They forced the intersection of Pfitzer and Moffatt to close following the Gustine crash.
Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run motorist.
