1 Injured in Hacienda Heights Hit-and-Run Crash on 60 Freeway at 7th Street
HACIENDA HEIGHTS, CA (October 10, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person on the 60 Freeway and 7th Street in Hacienda Heights.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place early Sunday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 3:38 a.m.
CHP determined that two vehicles collided in Hacienda Heights. They crashed for an unknown reason on the westbound 60 Freeway at 7th Street.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one individual who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that one of the drivers involved did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced the westbound 60 Freeway at 7th Street to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Hacienda Heights hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
