1 Killed in Crash on Interstate 15 Freeway Near Halloran Springs Road
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA (March 26, 2022) – A crash killed at least one person on the Interstate 15 Freeway in the Halloran Springs area.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place early Saturday. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:08 a.m.
CHP said a Dodge Charger and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason near Baker. The two crashed on the northbound Interstate 15 Freeway, just south of Halloran Springs Road.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log added that one of the cars involved rolled over due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel confirmed that the driver of the overturned vehicle died as a result of the wreck. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of the 15 Freeway to shut down for several hours following the incident. The cause of the fatal Halloran Springs crash is still under investigation.
