Passenger, 29, Fatal Victim in Traffic Collision Near Nuevo Road Sunday
Menifee, CA (October 13, 2021) – Hannah Marie Mesa, a 29-year-old Menifee resident, died following a car crash that occurred on Interstate 215 on October 10, Sunday.
According to My News LA, Hannah Mesa was a passenger in a sedan traveling south on the freeway in Menifee. Primary reports indicated the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the area near Nuevo Road. As a result, the sedan skidded into the dirt median and overturned.
Officials said the car slammed into a concrete bridge abutment of northbound Interstate 215 onramp. The force from the impact ejected Hannah Mesa from the vehicle.
Deadly Car Crash in Menifee, October 10
The Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived at the location shortly before 2 a.m. Responding medical personnel sadly pronounced the female passenger dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned an ambulance transported the driver to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley for treatment of major injuries. Investigators believed the driver was intoxicated at the time of the catastrophic incident.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the deadly car accident on Interstate 215 in Menifee.
