At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on SR-96
Happy Camp, CA (July 17, 2022) – One person suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on State Route Highway 96, according to the California Highway Patrol group.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Crash on Highway 96 in Happy Camp
Earlier reports indicated a man riding a motorbike collided with another vehicle near the 64634 block of SR-96 Sunday evening. The description of the automobiles involved in the wreck have not been discussed thus far.
CHP logged the case at about 6:14 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found both the car and motorcycle with significant damage. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the crash. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sustained trauma to their head. An ambulance reportedly transported the patient to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on Highway 96 in Happy Camp.
