Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian on Highway 3 Monday
Hayfork, CA (July 6, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Monday night on Highway 3, the KRCRTV News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle traveling south on Highway 3 struck a male party walking along the freeway near Wildwood Road. Officials identified the vehicle involved in the catastrophic incident as a 2002 Dodge Truck.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Hayfork, July 5
Shortly after 9:30 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the crash site and found a man lying on the road. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim, but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene. The name of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver of the Dodge stopped in the area following the crash. The motorist cooperated with the investigation process.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident in Hayfork.
