1 Seriously Injured in Hayward Crash on Highway 92 Near Clawiter Road
HAYWARD, CA (February 15, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a crash on Highway 92 near Clawiter Road in Hayward.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Monday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 6:10 p.m.
The incident happened on February 14 when four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city Hayward. They crashed on eastbound Highway 92, just west of Clawiter Road.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
CHP described two of the cars as a sedan and a black Dodge Ram pickup truck which rolled over upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Hayward crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced the eastbound lanes of Highway 92 to shut down near Clawiter for two and a half hours following the wreck.
