Liability for Auto Accidents
If the actions of a negligent driver have caused your injuries or the loss of a family member, it’s important that you take immediate steps to protect your legal rights. There are many factors that police consider when determining liability for a collision including speed, distractions, mechanical failures, reckless driving, driving under the influence and more. The insurance companies will try to get you to settle your claim for as little as they can, but they will not take into account future medical costs or loss of wages. It’s advisable that you consider hiring a personal injury lawyer to fight for your rights and get you the compensation you are entitled to.
