Cyclist Critical After Collision Near Devonshire Avenue Christmas Eve
Hemet, CA (December 25, 2021) – A bicycle rider suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred Christmas Eve on Sanderson Avenue.
The NBC4 News reported a blue Toyota Camry struck the cyclist in the southbound side of Sanderson Avenue. Officials said the collision took place near the intersection at Devonshire Avenue Saturday evening. Preliminary investigation revealed the car had a green light when he drove through the crossing. Meanwhile, the direction of the bicycle rider when the accident happened remained unknown.
Shortly after 11:24 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. Responding paramedics reportedly rushed the injured cyclist to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Authorities mentioned the driver of the Camry stayed at the site and cooperated with the investigation process.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the bicycle accident on Sanderson Avenue in Hemet.
