1 Killed in Hemet Crash Near Cactus Valley and Sage Roads
HEMET, CA (February 4, 2022) – A car crash killed at least one person near Cactus Valley and Sage roads in Hemet.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8 p.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed near the intersection of Cactus Valley and Sage roads in Hemet.
2 Vehicles Collide
A California Highway Patrol dispatch described the cars as a black Ford Explorer and another SUV, Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the site near the Grace Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
Medical personnel confirmed that one individual sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. They soon pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Cactus Valley and Sage roads to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Hemet crash is still under investigation.
