Motorcyclist Injured in Hemet Hit-and-Run Crash on Catlin Avenue
HEMET, CA (May 7, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured after a hit-and-run crash on Catlin Avenue near Highway 79 in Hemet.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team received a call about the accident on Thursday evening. Officers reported the wreck on May 6 at about 6:36 p.m.
According to CHP, a vehicle struck the motorcycle rider for an unknown reason. The two crashed at 33397 Catlin Avenue, just west of Highway 79, in Hemet.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the motorcyclist who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver did not stop to render aid to the rider and fled the area. They described the car as a gray Toyota Corolla with possible damage to its front.
Authorities are still searching for the motorist. Officials forced the roadway to shut down following the Hemet hit-and-run crash.
