Henri Chinchilla, 52, Killed in West Covina Crash on 10 Freeway
WEST COVINA, CA (June 5, 2022) – Henri Chinchilla was killed after a car crash on the 10 Freeway near Barranca Street in West Covina.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 52-year-old Los Angeles man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when Henri Chinchilla was possibly riding a vehicle which collided with multiple others in West Covina. At least three cars crashed on the westbound 10 Freeway near the Barranca Street off-ramp.
1 Injured in Wreck
CHP described the vehicles as a red Honda Civic, a tan Nissan Altima and a minivan. The CBS Los Angeles and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on June 4 at around 4:30 a.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found Henri Chinchilla lying on the ground as a result of the crash. He died at the scene.
Another person ended up injured following the wreck. Medical personnel provided treatment to the patient for the unknown injuries they sustained in the incident.
Meanwhile, CHP forced several lanes of the 10 Freeway to shut down for hours following the wreck. The cause of the West Covina crash is still under investigation.
