Herbert Sanders, 44, Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Riverside (91) Freeway Thursday
Riverside, CA (June 24, 2021) – Herbert Sanders, a 44-year-old man, died following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 91 Freeway early Thursday morning.
According to My News LA, Herbert Sanders attempted to run from the shoulder of the freeway to the center divider. Officials said the man made it across most lanes but was eventually hit in the fast lane, just east of Central Avenue. Primary reports briefly identified the automobile involved in the horrible crash as a sedan.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Riverside, June 24
Emergency crews arrived at the accident scene shortly after 2:05 a.m. Per article published online, the pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics reportedly performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died.
Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Detectives continue to investigate at this time liability in the deadly pedestrian accident in Riverside.
