Woman Hospitalized After Collision at Centennial Street and Arrowhead Lake Road Tuesday
Hesperia, CA (February 22, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred in the area of Centennial Street and Arrowhead Lake Road Tuesday.
2-Vehicle Accident in Hesperia, February 22
The Victor Valley News Group reported two vehicles collided at the intersection in Hesperia. Officials said the accident took place at about 7:09 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the crash site, they found a black 2003 Chevy Impala and a 1993 International F-4900 both with significant damage. Personnel from the San Bernardino County Fire also responded to the incident to extricate a woman pinned in the mangled vehicle. The victim was successfully freed shortly after 7:40 a.m.
Subsequently, a ground ambulance transported the injured woman to Hesperia Airport. Then, a Mercy Air 22 helicopter airlifted the patient to an out-of-area trauma center for treatment of unspecified injuries. The name of the injured party remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
The conditions of other parties involved in the wreck have not been discussed thus far.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the crash at Centennial Street and Arrowhead Lake Road.
