1 Airlifted to Hospital After Collision at Santa Fe Avenue and Ranchero Road Wednesday
Hesperia, CA (January 5, 2022) – One person suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Santa Fe Avenue and Ranchero Road.
According to Victor Valley News Group, two vehicles collided head-on at the intersection in Hesperia. Officials described the cars involved in the wreck as a 2020 Ford Transit Connect and a 2006 Toyota Sienna.
The car crash took place at approximately 9:45 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. The article published online confirmed one person sustained critical injuries. Responding paramedics transported the patient by ground ambulance to the nearby Hesperia Airport helipad. A helicopter then transferred the patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for further treatment and evaluation.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
Investigators continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the car crash at Santa Fe Avenue and Ranchero Road.
