Motorcyclist, 70, Seriously Injured in Hesperia Crash at Highway 395 and Poplar Street
HESPERIA, CA (November 21, 2022) – A crash left a motorcyclist seriously injured at Highway 395 and Poplar Street in Hesperia.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Monday evening. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 6 p.m.
The incident happened when the rider of a black Harley Davidson and a pickup truck hauling a trailer collided for an unknown reason in Hesperia.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The two crashed at the intersection of Highway 395 and Poplar Street. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist down on the ground.
Police said the 70-year-old man sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. A helicopter flew him to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The name of the wounded party and his condition at this time were not disclosed. Meanwhile, police added that the driver of the pickup stopped and stayed at the site following the wreck.
Officers forced Highway 395 to shut down between Poplar and Main Street after the incident. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
