Injury Car Accident on Foothill Freeway Saturday
Highland, CA (October 24, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Interstate 210, also known as Foothill Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, multiple vehicles collided on the eastbound lanes of the freeway. First responders found at the scene a gray Volkswagen Beetle, a white Toyota Scion, and a black Nissan car.
The accident took place in the area near Highland and Arden Avenue.
Emergency crews reportedly arrived at the location shortly after 11:35 a.m. Responding paramedics immediately attended to all possible victims. The CHP log later confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. Pending confirmation, the name and age of the victim remained undisclosed.
Hit-and-Run Car Crash in Highland, October 23
Investigators mentioned a driver involved in the collision fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
At this time, detectives continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash in Highland.
