At Least 1 Hurt in Car Accident at California City Boulevard and Maverick Street Friday
California City, CA (April 17, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a hit-and-run car crash that occurred in the area of California City Boulevard and Maverick Street.
Officials said three vehicles collided at the California City intersection Friday evening. CHP logged the incident at about 6:20 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found a gray Toyota Corolla and a gray Chrysler. According to the dispatch, the third vehicle involved in the wreck fled the scene before police arrived.
Responding medical personnel checked the conditions of people involved in the wreck. According to the dispatch, one occupant from the Toyota sustained injuries as a result of the collision.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to locate and identify the hit-and-run suspect. Further investigation on the hit-and-run car crash in California City is underway.
