1 Seriously Injured in Hollister Crash on Highway 152 Near Dinosaur Point Road
HOLLISTER, CA (December 25, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Highway 152 near Dinosaur Point Road in Hollister.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident at around 3:39 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Hollister. They crashed on westbound Highway 152, just west of Dinosaur Point Road.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a blue BMW and a gray Cadillac SUV. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Pacheco State Park.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the incident. They then took the patient to the Mercy Medical Center Redding for treatment.
The report did not release name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of Highway 152 to shut down near Dinosaur Point following the wreck.
The cause of the Hollister crash is still under investigation.
