1 Seriously Injured in Hollister Crash Near San Felipe Road and Highway 156
HOLLISTER, CA (April 1, 2021) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person near San Felipe Road and Highway 156 in Hollister.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the incident occurred on Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:33 p.m.
CHP said pickup truck, a Jeep and two sedans collided for an unknown reason. They crashed near the intersection of San Felipe Road and Highway 156 in Hollister.
Multi-Car Collision Near Hollister Muni Airport
The report indicated that the pickup and a sedan sustained moderate front-end damage upon impact. The Jeep ended up with two broken left tires while the other sedan obtained moderate damage.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Hollister Muni Airport-CVH. They found one individual who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the wounded party to the hospital for treatment. The name of the patient and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, officials shut down the intersection of San Felipe and Highway 156 following the accident. Authorities are still determining the cause of the crash.
