1 Killed in Hollister Tesla Crash on Highway 156 Near Flint Road
HOLLISTER, CA (March 19, 2022) – A crash killed at least one person on Highway 156 near Flint Road in Hollister.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place late Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:50 p.m.
CHP said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Hollister. They crashed on the eastbound side of Highway 156, just east Flint Road.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The incident log described two of the cars as white Tesla and a blue Honda Civic. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased individual has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if any other party ended up hurt. Officers forced the eastbound lanes of Highway 156 to shut down near Flint following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Hollister crash is still under investigation.
