1 Injured in Hollister Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 156
HOLLISTER, CA (July 4, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person on Highway 156 in Hollister.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on July 3 shortly after 5 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Hollister. They crashed at 4120 Highway 156, known as San Juan Hollister Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Union Road. They found one individual who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. They described the suspect car as gray or silver colored Honda with damage to its driver’s side.
Officers forced a portion of Highway 156 to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Hollister hit-and-run crash.
