Woman Seriously Injured in Hollywood Hit-and-Run Near Santa Monica and El Centro
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 9, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash seriously injured a pedestrian near Santa Monica Boulevard and El Centro Avenue in Hollywood.
According to the KTLA News and My News LA, the accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the collision at about 6:05 a.m.
The incident began when a female pedestrian was standing next to a parked vehicle on the north side of Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood.
At the same time, a vehicle was going west on Santa Monica from El Centro Avenue. Police said for an unknown reason, the driver then struck the woman.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the victim left suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed her to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and her condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled westbound on Santa Monica Boulevard. They described the car as a 2017-20119 4-door white Mercedes-Benz C Class.
