1 Badly Injured in Hopland Crash on Highway 175 and Highway 101
HOPLAND, CA (January 4, 2022) – At least one was badly injured after a car crash on Highway 175 and Highway 101 in Hopland.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:26 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Hopland. They crashed on Highway 175 near the intersection with Highway 101.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars involved as a red Cadillac Escalade and a tan Toyota Sienna. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They provided treatment to the patient for the minor to moderate injuries they sustained in the accident.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 175 and Highway 101 to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Hopland crash is still under investigation.
