Huntington Beach: Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Warner Avenue

Car Strikes, Kills Man Near Springdale Street

Huntington Beach, CA (September 23, 2022) – A 40-year-old man died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Warner Avenue Friday evening, according to My News LA.

The article published online mentioned a vehicle struck a male party in the area east of Springdale Street in Huntington Beach. Preliminary investigation revealed the pedestrian attempted to walk across Warner Avenue outside of the crosswalk. The horrible crash happened when the driver of an eastbound gray 2015 Acura did not notice man in the roadway.

Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Warner Avenue in Huntington Beach

Shortly after 7 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim found lying in the street. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures to the injured pedestrian but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.

The Huntington Beach Police Department mentioned the driver of the Acura appeared unharmed after the incident.

At this time, detectives continue to investigate liability in the deadly pedestrian accident that happened on Warner Avenue in Huntington Beach.
