1 Seriously Injured in Hydesville Crash at Highway 36 and Fisher Road

HYDESVILLE, CA (March 31, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Highway 36 and Fisher Road in Hydesville.

The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident last week on Wednesday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 8:22 p.m.

The incident happened on March 23 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Hydesville area of Humboldt County. They crashed at the intersection of Highway 36 and Fisher Road.

2 Cars Collide

CHP described one of the cars as a Toyota Tundra. The pickup truck went 15 feet off the road upon impact, rolled over and came to a rest on its roof.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the scene. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel soon took the patient to the Providence Redwood Memorial Hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP forced the corner of Highway 36 and Fisher Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Hydesville crash is still under investigation.
