4 Injured in Indian Wells Crash at Highway 111 and Club Drive
INDIAN WELLS, CA (July 30, 2022) – Several were injured after a DUI crash at Highway 111 and Club Drive in Indian Wells.
According to an article published by the KESQ News, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on July 29 at around 1:45 p.m.
The sheriff’s department said a white Ford utility truck collided with three more vehicles in Indian Wells. The four crashed on Highway 111 at the intersection with Club Drive.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of four people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
One victim sustained moderate injuries and another survived with minor injuries. Medical personnel then rushed them to a hospital for treatment.
The other two patients declined help at the site. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, deputies believed that the driver of the Ford was under the influence of alcohol when the incident happened. The Indian Wells crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Highway 111 and Club Drive to shut down following the wreck.
