2 Hospitalized After Collision Near Monroe Exit Friday
Indio, CA (February 4, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 10 Friday afternoon.
According to an article published online by the Desert Sun, two vehicles collided in the eastbound side of I-10 in Indio. The crash took place in the area near Monroe Street exit.
Emergency crews responded to the incident shortly after 5:30 p.m. When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found a sedan overturned near the center divider of the freeway.
Medical personnel checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed two people sustained injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics transported the two patients to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the car crash on Interstate 10 in Indio.
