Irma Galinda Guzman, 62, Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash at Holt Avenue and Short Street
Pomona, CA (September 9, 2021) – On January 3, 2020, 62-year-old Irma Galinda Guzman died following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Holt Avenue and Short Street.
The Press Enterprise News reported Irma Guzman was seen crossing the intersection in Pomona. Officials said an oncoming vehicle failed to slow down, and eventually struck the pedestrian.
Our sources indicated the horrible crash took place at approximately 9:20 p.m.

When emergency teams arrived at the location, they found Irma Guzman with serious injuries. An ambulance rushed to the woman to a hospital, but she sadly died a few hours later. Authorities confirmed the identity of the deceased as Irma Galinda Guzman, a homeless woman.
The article published online mentioned the driver fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
