At Least 1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision on
Irvine, CA (June 11, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a fatal car crash that occurred on State Route 33, also known as Laguna Freeway, Thursday late afternoon.
At about 5:40 p.m., patrol officers received reports of an accident involving two or more vehicles. Initial records indicated a black sedan collided with a black pickup truck. The force from the impact caused one car to overturn onto the right-hand shoulder of the highway. Authorities added a white sedan was also possibly involved in the wreck.
The CHP mentioned Good Samaritans stopped by the crash site, near Interstate 5 Freeway. Our sources indicated the Good Samaritans pulled out one male party from the rolled over car. When medical personnel arrived, they immediately rendered aid to all parties with injuries.

At approximately 6:15, the accident dispatch mentioned one person sadly died as a result of the incident. Police continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the fatal car crash in Irvine remained unclear. For this reason, detectives stayed in the area the whole evening to investigate the precise cause of the collision.
