Isabel Sandoval Fatally Struck by Vehicle on East San Ysidro Boulevard
San Ysidro, CA (May 20, 2021) – On October 15, 2020, Isabel Sandoval suffered fatal injuries following a hit-and-run collision on East San Ysidro Boulevard.
The FOX5 News reported a silver SUV struck the female pedestrian in the 200 block of East San Ysidro Boulevard. According to the article published online, the 45-year-old woman suffered multiple injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics arrived at the site and rendered aid to Isabel Sandoval, but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and died.

Officials later confirmed the driver of the SUV fled the scene. The hit-and-run suspect was last seen heading west on East San Ysidro Boulevard. At this time, the name of the hit-and-run driver and their location remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the fatal crash in San Ysidro.
