Isais Cagal, 31, DUI Suspect in Car Accident on Leveroni Road Wednesday
Sonoma, CA (April 1, 2021) – Police arrested 31-year-old Isais Cagal in relation with an injury collision on Leveroni Road Wednesday afternoon.
According to an article published online by the Press Democrat, Isais Cagal was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Camaro. Officials said the crash happened the driver allowed the Chevrolet to cross over the solid double yellow lines.
The Chevrolet collided into a Toyota Highlander traveling in the opposite lane. As a result, both automobiles sustained major damages.
2 Drivers Injured in Sonoma Car Crash, March 31
Shortly after 4:30 p.m., medical personnel arrived and rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. Authorities confirmed the driver of the Toyota and Isais Cagal suffered injuries in the crash.
Investigators later determined the driver of the Chevrolet was intoxicated at the time of the incident. For this reason, police arrested Isais Cagal on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
