Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 60 Freeway
MONTEREY PARK, Calif. (Oct. 12, 2021) – Jacorey Odu, 32, of Austin, Texas, in a weekend car crash on the Pomona (60) Freeway and Atlantic Boulevard in Monterey Park.
The man died in a multi-vehicle crash about 4:50 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 10th on the freeway in Monterey Park, according to MyNewsLa.
The crash occurred on the eastbound 60 freeway at Atlantic Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reported. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene.
However, Jacorey Odu suffered major injuries and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if any other person suffered injuries in the collision.
Police closed down the eastbound lanes of the 60 Freeway at Atlantic for about an hour following the wreck.
Finally, the circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
