Pedestrian Jamal McGee, 41, Killed in San Bernardino Crash on Lynwood Drive
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (October 2, 2022) – Jamal McGee was killed after a pedestrian crash near Lynwood Drive and Mountain Avenue in San Bernardino.
The coroner’s office identified the 41-year-old San Bernardino man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place last week on Thursday.
The incident began when a large white pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed in the area of Lynwood Drive and Mountain Avenue.
Speeding Driver Hits Man
San Bernardino police said the car then struck Jamal McGee on Lynwood, west of Mountain. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found him down on the ground.
Jamal McGee sustained serious injuries as a result of the pedestrian accident. Medical personnel rushed him to the St. Bernardine Medical Center, where he soon died.
The On Scene TV wrote that the collision occurred on September 22 at about 9:22 p.m. Meanwhile, police added that the speeding driver stayed at the site following the incident.
Officers forced the corner of Lynwood and Mountain to shut down for a time after the fatal collision. The cause of the San Bernardino pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
