1 Seriously Injured in Jamestown Crash at Highway 108 and Chicken Ranch Road
JAMESTOWN, CA (February 14, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a crash at Highway 108 and Chicken Ranch Road in Jamestown.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Monday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:06 a.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Jamestown. They crashed on westbound Highway 108 at the intersection with Chicken Ranch Road.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a gray Ford Mustang and a white sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Yuba City.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound Highway 108 to shut down near Chicken Ranch following the wreck.
The cause of the Jamestown crash is still under investigation.
