Boat Comes Off Trailer, Hits Vehicles on State Route 94 Saturday
Jamul, CA (February 5, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred Saturday on State Route 94 resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated a boat being towed detached from the vehicle while traveling on the highway. The incident took place in the area near Honey Springs Road.
After the boat came off, officials said it struck one or more vehicles driving on SR-94. The make and model of the vehicles hit by the boat have not been revealed thus far.
The CHP logged the case shortly after 6:20 p.m. When emergency crews arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to parties found trapped in the wreckage. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained major trauma as a result of the crash.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. Given that, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the traffic accident on State Route 94 in Jamul.
