1 Seriously Injured in Jamul Crash on State Route 94 Near Casino
JAMUL, CA (March 13, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on State Route 94 near a casino in Jamul.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident on Sunday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 8:43 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in front of the Jamul Casino. They crashed on westbound State Route 94, known as Campo Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and extricated the trapped occupants from the wreckage. They confirmed that one person sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of State Route 94 to shut down near the casino following the wreck. The cause of the Jamul crash is still under investigation.
