Jasmine Amesquita, 23; and Baby Killed in Apple Valley Head-On Crash
APPLE VALLEY, CA (June 7, 2021) – A car crash killed Jasmine Amesquita and her baby near Deep Creek Road and Poppy Road in Apple Valley.
The coroner’s office identified the 23-year-old Apple Valley woman and her 5-month old child as victims of the fatal wreck on Sunday.
The incident happened when Jasmine Amesquita and her baby were riding a Ford Crown Victoria north on Deep Creek Road in Apple Valley.
For an unknown reason, a Toyota Corolla drifted into the northbound lane and went directly into the path of the Ford. The Toyota then slammed head-on into the Crown Victoria.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and pronounced Jasmine Amesquita and her baby dead at the scene. Victor Valley News wrote that the accident took place on June 6 at about 2:23 p.m.
Family members set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the funeral expenses of the deceased victims.
Meanwhile. the 49-year-old woman driving the Ford sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. She was flown to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The male driver of the Corolla suffered major injuries upon impact while his three juvenile passengers survived with minor wounds.
Air ambulances took them to the Loma Linda Medical Center. The cause of the Apple Valley crash is still under investigation.
