Jason McKinley, 39, ID’d as Suspect in Stockton DUI Crash on El Dorado Street
STOCKTON, CA (April 16, 2022) – Authorities detained Jason McKinley after a DUI crash on El Dorado Street in Stockton.
Police determined that the 39-year-old man was under the influence of alcohol when the wreck took place on Friday night.
The incident began when Jason McKinley was driving a white Chevrolet truck on El Dorado Street in Stockton. He then then veered into oncoming traffic near Churchill Street.
Man, 20, Seriously Injured in Wreck
Police said in the process, his car struck a red Toyota head-on. The CBS Sacramento wrote that the accident occurred on April 15 at about 11:30 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the scene. They found the driver of the Toyota, a 20-year-old man, who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the wounded victim to a hospital for treatment. His name and condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, police soon arrested Jason McKinley for felony DUI and driving with a suspended license for a previous DUI. The Stockton DUI crash is still under investigation.
