Several Dead After Collision at Millerton Road and Marina Drive Saturday
Fresno, CA (February 9, 2022) – Javier Hernandez, and Miguel Tijerina both died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Millerton Road and Marina Drive.
According to ABC30 News, two vehicles collided head-on Saturday morning near Millerton Lake. Earlier reports described the cars involved in the wreck as a grey Hyundai and a White Honda. For an unknown reason, the two automobiles crashed just down the road from a popular Fresno County casino–Table Mountain Casino.
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 4:30 a.m. First responders found several parties unconscious and trapped in the disabled Hyundai. Despite life-saving measures, all four men in the Hyundai died as a result of the collision. Authorities identified the deceased driver as 20-year-old Javier Hernandez of Lemoore. Officers also identified one deceased passenger as 43-year-old Miguel Tijerina.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly car accident at Millerton Road and Marina Drive.
